Le Rêve Organic Day Spa & Boutique is seeking a passionate, dual-licensed Esthetician and Massage Therapist to join our eco-friendly sanctuary in downtown Santa Barbara. As a dual specialist, you will provide an integrated wellness experience—blending advanced, toxin-free skincare with therapeutic bodywork to deliver the ultimate relaxing experience for our guests.

Core Responsibilities: Massage Therapy

• Deliver customized, therapeutic bodywork utilizing a variety of modalities offered on our menu, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Stone Massage, and Foot Reflexology.
• Consult with guests to assess individual physical needs, identify medical concerns or contraindications, and adapt pressure and techniques accordingly.
• Promote stress management, deep relaxation, and holistic healing through intentional touch.

Core Responsibilities: Esthetics & Body Treatments

• Perform elevated facial treatments tailored to each guest's skin type using our curated, high-performance organic product lines (including Jurlique and Eminence).
• Execute precision spa services including detailed skin analyses, professional extractions, body waxing, and organic body scrubs/wraps (e.g., Stone Crop Restorative Body Wraps).
• Educate clients on green beauty by designing customized at-home skincare routines and driving retail boutique sales.

Operational & Spa Culture Duties

• Maintain eco-friendly spa standards by ensuring treatment rooms are pristine, properly sanitized, and stocked according to our green certification protocols.
• Embody a warm, polite, and polished demeanor to create a welcoming, professional atmosphere for every client.
• Actively collaborate with our Spa Coordinators and work seamlessly with the rest of the spa team.
• Support Le Rêve's mission and community giveback initiatives, such as our support programs for cancer patients.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Licensure: Active California Esthetician License (Board of Cosmetology) and active CAMTC Massage Therapy Certification.
• Philosophy alignment: Passion for organic skincare, clean beauty, and eco-friendly business practices.
• Skills: Strong retail sales ability with a "can-do" attitude and an interest in building a long-term local clientele.
• Availability: Flexibility to work weekends and evening shifts.
• History: Proven track record of reliability and a history of stable, long-term employment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform repetitive hand, arm, and shoulder movements required for massage therapy.
