Give us a call opt 1 Job Details: Shift: 12H Nights Total Weekly Hours: 36 Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS Trauma Level: Facility Specific Job Notes: Required Experience and Licensure: - Minimum of 18 months recent Emergency Department (ED) experience. - 18 months permanent experience in specialty applying. - Permanent Ohio license or compact state license must be in hand at time of submission. Certifications: - AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) & PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required and must be in hand at time of submission. - TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) preferred. - NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification required. Additional Requirements: - One reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM), supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required. References must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months and no co-worker references will be considered. - COVID-19 and Flu Vaccines are required, with medical/religious exemptions only. - Facility does not accept any license hits. - Nurses and CSTs are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements, while other travelers must be nicotine-free. - BCI/FBI prints are time-sensitive and must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract. Testing and Assessments: - PBDS Assessment is waived. - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation, with an acceptable score required on both assessments.
