Department : Dean, Law Salary : Commensurate with experience Description The University of Houston Law Center invites applications for a tenured Associate or Full Professor position in health law, beginning in the academic year 2026-2027. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a chair or professorship depending on experience and qualifications. Applicants must hold a J.D. (or equivalent), have an excellent record of health law scholarship, substantial contributions to the discipline, a strong teaching record, and a demonstrated commitment to service. The rank appointed will reflect the academic and scholarly record. Selected candidates will teach health law courses or related courses and will be affiliated with the Law Center’s top‑ranked Health Law & Policy Institute (HLPI). Additional details about the HLPI can be found at Qualifications J.D. degree or equivalent; preferably from an ABA-accredited law school. Excellent record of health law scholarship and substantial scholarly contributions. Strong teaching record in health law or related subjects. Demonstrated commitment to service.
