Key Job Responsibilities Assessment: Perform admission and ongoing assessment of patients’ condition, provide nursing care to meet physical, psychological, and spiritual needs, and notify doctors of changes requiring attention. Planning: Design, direct, evaluate, and document care plans, patient/family teaching, and transitions of care to ensure safe discharge. Work with other disciplines for specialized needs and daily goals that consider individual patient needs. Implementation: Prepare patients physically, psychologically, and spiritually for treatments, surgeries, and diagnostic studies, reducing anxiety. Monitor conditions, report significant changes, and implement safety initiatives and protocols including medication safety, orders, and consult notifications. Evaluation: Reassess patients at appropriate intervals, notify physicians to modify interventions, and adjust nursing care to meet emerging needs. Report Skills: Give and receive bedside shift reports, including family participation, providing accurate and comprehensive information to ensure continuity of care. Job Requirements Associate of Nursing degree At least 1 year of RN experience upon hire or demonstrated competence in Registered Nurse I performance expectations Registered Nurse licensure in TX upon hire Basic Life Support - CPR within 14 days of hire Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of hire Where You'll Work St. Luke's Health‑Lakeside Hospital in The Woodlands is a 30‑bed facility dedicated to enhancing health and well‑being.
