About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day 4x10 Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS or ARRT or RTR Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cath Lab - First-time travelers accepted with 3 years of strong Cath Lab experience Description: Local candidates are accepted at a reduced travel rate. Weekend coverage is required every third weekend. Holidays are required as they fall scheduled. On-call is required one day per week and one weekend per month. Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with a daily census of around 15. Special procedures may include right and left heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention, and others. Experience in various cardiac procedures is required. Special equipment utilized may include Impella console, IABP console, and others. Skills such as accurate monitoring and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias are essential. Candidates should be comfortable floating within scope with no restrictions or special requests. Return travelers must be away for at least 6 months following the completion of their assignment. Former staff must be away for 12 months before returning. Compliance documents are required prior to the start date. Modules are non-billable and factored into onboarding.
