As a Security Officer Full Time Alarm Response in Allen, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms and security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $22.15 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access activity and follow site procedures for visitor, contractor, and delivery entry, including verifying credentials and maintaining required records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
