Construction Superintendent | NYC Interiors We are an established General Contractor with a track record of building corporate interiors, retail, academic, and healthcare interiors projects throughout New York City. We are looking to bring on a strong Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial interior projects. Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr Client Details Location: New York City Employment Type: Full Time Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Responsibilities Manage the job site from inception through completion. Communicate and meet regularly with subcontractors to assess project progress, schedule, changes, and deliveries. Proactively identify design deficiencies, schedule concerns, and other project-specific issues. Enforce safety protocols to ensure job sites consistently meet or exceed OSHA safety standards. Maintain appropriate documentation throughout the project including change order logs, RFI logs, and submittal lots. Communicate effectively with owners, construction managers, other superintendents, and project managers to ensure appropriate information to ensure completeness, design intent, and compliance with local codes and obtain all required clarifications from the design team. Qualifications Minimum of 4 years Construction experience in commercial interiors, retail, academic or healthcare interiors projects. Knowledge of construction procedures, building codes, estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and safety practices.
