Job Overview AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel RN – OR in Portland, Maine. Start date 03/23/2026 for 13 weeks (36 hours per week, 12‑hour shifts). This is a travel assignment. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week (12‑hour days) Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Perioperative Nurse - Operating Room - Travel (OR RN). Pay $2,331.00 – $2,475.00 per 12‑hour shift. Facility: 929‑bed academic medical center, Level I Trauma Center, Magnet‑recognized. 26‑bed OR with specialties: General, Pediatrics, Open Vascular & Endovascular, Neuro, ENT, DaVinci Robotics, Orthopaedic trauma & joints, Plastics, Dental, GU & GYN. Coastal Maine, about 2 hrs north of Boston. Responsibilities Assist with a variety of surgical procedures. Maintain sterile technique. Document care using EPIC EMR. Required Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 2 years of perioperative experience. RN license (Compact acceptable); copy required. Social Security Number and Date of Birth required. References: 2 from entire work history. Recent Level 1 Trauma Center experience. Competent in robotics (DaVinci Xi), PCNLs, nephrectomies, ureteral reimplants, hysterectomies, cystectomies, colpocleisis, hysteroscopy, ureteroscopy.
