NaphCare is hiring a PRN Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)  just like you to join our team at the Santa Cruz County Jail facility located in  Santa Cruz, CA. Pay rates vary based on shift, site needs, and experience.

NaphCare has a partnership with NetCE that provides CEU/CME for our staff. NetCE uses a rigorous peer review process to ensure that all activities and content are up-to-date. Responsibilities

Responsibilities for Certified Medical Assistant (CMA):

• Provide routine clinical tasks
• Perform routine blood drawing procedures
• Take and document vital signs, height and weight, assist with PPDs and EKGs
• Assist with examinations and/or treatments
• Assist with patient hygiene, ambulation and dressing changes

Qualifications

Qualifications for Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) :

• CA or National Certification is required for Certified Medical Assistants. 
• Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate 
• A valid CPR card
