JOB SUMMARY The Beverage Server is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service to guests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner within a gaming facility. This role requires thorough knowledge of beverage offerings, compliance with alcohol service and safety regulations, and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment for all guests. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following list is representative of the duties and responsibilities required for this role. It is not all-inclusive and may be expanded as necessary. Take beverage orders from guests in assigned areas and deliver drinks promptly and accurately. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages; offer recommendations to guests. Ensure all beverages are prepared and served according to established procedures and presentation standards. Monitor guest alcohol consumption in compliance with local, state, and facility regulations. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including removal of used glasses, napkins, and other materials. Interact positively and professionally with guests to enhance their experience and resolve any concerns. Accurately process payments via cash, credit card, or player rewards systems. Assist with restocking and inventory maintenance for bar areas. Follow all health and safety regulations, especially regarding the handling and storage of beverages. Perform other duties as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to deliver efficient, friendly, and attentive guest service. Must be available to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and nights. Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in food and beverage service, preferably in a gaming facility or hospitality setting. Knowledge of state and local alcohol service laws and guidelines. Ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license and alcohol service permit as required by the state of Kentucky. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS Must be able to stand, walk, and carry trays or beverages for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Exposure to a noisy, fast-paced environment typical of a gaming facility. May be required to work in smoking and non-smoking areas.
