About the Role

Join our dedicated team at Judith Ruth Medical Center LLC as a Registered Nurse Practitioner, where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare to our community. We are a Medicare and Medicaid credentialed provider offering comprehensive outpatient and community-based services, including primary care and preventive health programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, including:
  • Diabetes
  • Hypertension
  • Hyperlipidemia (cholesterol management)
• Prescribe medications and manage ongoing treatment protocols
• Conduct STI/STD screening and treatment
• Perform physical and wellness exams (men and women)
• Provide patient and family education on disease prevention and health maintenance
• Participate in weight loss and lifestyle management programs
• Support home-based primary care services for eligible patients
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Engage in community health fairs and wellness education programs
• Support nursing and clinical training/education initiatives

Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Georgia
• Masters or Doctorate degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP)
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in primary care, urgent care, or related setting
• Current certification in BLS (required) and ACLS (preferred)
• Medicare and Medicaid credentialing required (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development

Preferred Experience

• Primary care or family practice experience
• Chronic disease management (diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol)
• Preventive care and wellness programs
• Community outreach or home-based care experience

Salary

• Compensation: Based on experience and qualifications (competitive market rates)
