The Opportunity We're seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to diagnose and repair diesel-powered vehicles to the highest standard. We'll keep you busy and reward your expertise - and in return we expect accurate diagnostics, efficient production, and quality work that doesn't come back. What You'll Do Diagnose and repair diesel engines, fuel systems, turbochargers, emissions (DEF/DPF/EGR), and after treatment systems Perform advanced electrical, driveability, and computer-related diagnostics on diesel platforms Complete maintenance, repairs, recalls, and manufacturer-recommended services to factory specification Complete thorough, honest multi-point inspections and document findings clearly Work efficiently to meet and exceed flag-hour expectations without sacrificing quality Communicate clearly and promptly with advisors and parts to keep promise times accurate Follow proper warranty and repair documentation so the story line supports the work Road-test to verify both the concern and the repair, and keep your bay and equipment clean and organized The Standard We Hold We set a high bar at Grubbs. In this role, success means consistently delivering on the following: Accurate diagnosis and quality repairs - a low comeback rate Strong, consistent flag-hour production and proficiency on diesel work Complete, honest multi-point inspections on every vehicle Up-to-date knowledge of diesel emissions and after treatment systems Continuous skill growth through training and certification What We're Looking For Diesel repair experience required Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills on diesel engines and emissions systems ASE (including diesel/medium-heavy) and/or manufacturer certifications a plus Own a set of tools Valid driver's license and clean driving record Why Grubbs?
