Shift Schedule

• 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• • Training Requirement: 3rd shift employees must train on 2nd shift (Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) for the first few weeks.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Orbital GTAW Welder to perform precision welding on aerospace components using manual and automated orbital welding equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience welding exotic aerospace alloys, reading welding documentation, troubleshooting welding equipment, and maintaining strict aerospace quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and automatic GTAW welding systems.
• Perform orbital welding per work instructions and procedures.
• Read and interpret WPS, WPQR, drawings, and weld symbols.
• Prepare parts through proper cleaning and handling.
• Inspect completed welds using visual and measuring equipment.
• Fine-tune welding parameters to achieve quality standards.
• Perform welding equipment setup and troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and FOD-free work area.
• Obtain and maintain required welding certifications.
• Follow all quality, safety, and production procedures.
• Support continuous improvement and production goals.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 8 years of welding experience.
• Ability to obtain AWS D17.1 certification.
• Strong knowledge of GTAW welding processes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and weld symbols.
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to pass company weld qualification testing.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS D17.1 Certification.
• Aerospace welding background.
• Orbital GTAW programming experience.
• Experience with aerospace manufacturing standards.
• Knowledge of aerospace quality documentation.
