Responsibilities

• Administers ionizing irradiation to patients per prescriptions and instructions from department physicians.
• Operates radiation therapy equipment safely and accurately.
• Monitors patient positioning and immobilization, ensuring comfort and adherence to treatment protocols.
• Verifies treatment parameters and documents treatments per protocol.
• Collaborates with radiation oncologists and therapy team to execute prescribed treatment plans.
• Maintains strict radiation safety practices and complies with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Education: Completed accredited radiation therapy program.
• Certification: ARRT or ABR certification (or equivalent) preferred/required.
• Licensure: Eligible for licensure in California.
• Experience: Prior radiation therapy experience preferred.
• Schedule: Able to fulfill a 8-week travel assignment with 40 hours per week, days shift.
