Job Summary The Inventory Advisor is responsible for performing inventory cycle counts, managing transfer requests, and ensuring accurate restocking and labeling of products in the warehouse. This role involves executing order changes, recording serial numbers, and providing coverage for other warehouse roles during high‑volume periods. The Inventory Advisor must demonstrate attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and adaptability while working efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. Role Description Perform inventory cycle counts for accuracy and verification Complete transfer requests submitted by sales, configuration staff, and customers Re‑label and store invoiced products going back into stock under customer‑owned variants Compile and provide stock being returned to vendors to our returns department Restock bins with minimum quantity required Receive and record serial numbers in the Warehouse Management System for designated customer projects Remove obsolete products from inventory as directed Execute last‑minute order changes Provide coverage for other warehouse roles in times of high volume Complete forklift safety and operation training within 30 days of hire Behaviors and Competencies Analytical Thinking: Understand and interpret basic data or information Attention to Detail: Follow instructions and complete tasks as assigned Data Analysis: Understand basic data sets and use simple analytical techniques to extract insights Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow simple organizational systems Communication: Communicate simple ideas and information clearly Problem‑Solving: Demonstrate a willingness to address and resolve problems when they arise Time Management: Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines Continuous Improvement: Identify minor areas for improvement and implement minor changes Technical Expertise: Understand basic concepts in a technical area and seek guidance when applying them Adaptability: Accept feedback and adjust to new tasks or changes in the workplace Skill Level Requirements Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment (Basic) Ability to take direction and follow instructions (Basic) Ability to complete tasks with accuracy and efficiency (Basic) Ability to work independently or as part of a team (Basic) Ability to show initiative to complete tasks without direct instruction (Basic) Ability to understand and apply management feedback (Basic) Ability to demonstrate a professional attitude (Basic) Ability to operate industrial‑powered equipment (Basic) Ability to multitask and prioritize work (Basic) Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint (Basic) Other Requirements Warehouse experience preferred Completed high school diploma or equivalent education Must be able to communicate (verbal/written) in English Ability to operate a computer and navigate in a Windows‑based platform Complete forklift safety and operation training within 30 days of hire Overtime and weekend work may be required throughout the year Position requires the ability to move or lift up to 50 lbs Compensation The estimated hourly pay range for this position is $18.25 - $23.25 plus a quarterly bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and therefore will vary from individual to individual.
