Respiratory Therapist 2

Role Provides high-quality, safe, and cost-effective respiratory care to patients across various settings. Responsibilities Manages ventilator and rounding protocols, assesses cardiopulmonary status, administers oxygen therapy, pharmacological agents, bronchial hygiene, airway, and ventilator care. Performs non-invasive ventilation (BIPAP/CPAP), manages neonatal and surgical ventilated patients, educates patients on disease management and discharge plans, responds to trauma and emergency codes, transports ventilators, and documents care activities. Ensures compliance with departmental standards and participates in mandatory training and meetings. Qualifications & Skills Certified or registered respiratory therapist (RT2 level) Entry-level experience preferred, up to six months Current CPR certification for Healthcare Providers Ventilator management skills for adults and NICU Strong manual dexterity and physical effort capacity (may exert up to 50 lbs.) Ability to handle manual skills, motor coordination, and exposure to challenging environments Additional Requirements NBRC credentials, compliance with departmental standards, and willingness to perform other assigned duties.
