Schedule: 12 hour Dupont Schedule - 7 on 7 off - days/nights

Job Description:

• Operate and monitor the biomass power plant from the control room, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient generation of steam and electricity.
• Monitor DCS/SCADA systems, alarms, operating parameters, and plant equipment, making adjustments as needed to maintain optimal performance.
• Coordinate startup, shutdown, and operating procedures for boilers, turbines, generators, and auxiliary systems.
• Troubleshoot abnormal operating conditions and equipment issues, taking corrective action while following established safety and operating procedures.
• Communicate closely with field operators and maintenance personnel to coordinate inspections, equipment isolations, repairs, and plant activities.
• Maintain accurate operating logs, records, and reports while ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Minnesota 1A Boiler Operator License required , with prior experience operating boilers, power generation equipment, or industrial energy systems strongly preferred.
