Key Qualifications:

• Valid SLP licensure in South Carolina
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience in school settings and with pediatric populations
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders
• Collaborative approach to working with students, educators, and other therapists

Role Expectations:

• Deliver direct therapy to students individually and in small groups as per IEP goals
• Conduct thorough speech and language assessments and document findings accordingly
• Communicate progress and recommendations to school staff and families
• Attend team meetings as needed and contribute insight for IEP development
• Assist in creating and implementing interventions to better distribute the caseload among the staff SLPs
• Maintain thorough and accurate records in accordance with school policies
