Chief Attorney & Lead Defender — Public Defense Leader

Metropolitan Public Defenders (MPD) invites applications for a Chief Attorney in its Multnomah County Office. This management role represents MPD in policy and operation discussions with criminal justice system stakeholders and oversees a team of 8–12 attorneys with caseloads. The Chief Attorney mentors and trains staff, handles a misdemeanor or felony caseload of 0.25–0.75, and reports to the Multnomah County Director. This is a full-time, in-office exempt position with competitive benefits. #J-18808-Ljbffr NACBA
