The primary work product is the complete digital design of a PCB (Printed Wiring Board) from inception through layout and assembly. Responsibilities will also include test and troubleshooting.The successful candidate must operate with the highest level of personal integrity, adapt to rapidly changing circumstances, and adhere to accepted processes to ensure successful completion of projects. Other desirable attributes include being able to work under own initiative, be calm under pressure and responsive to change with a logical approach to technical problem resolution and decision making.What You Will DoYou will work within a Digital Design team to generate and update schematics that incorporate microcontrollers, FPGAs, memory interfaces, and supporting circuitry based on design requirementsYou will partner with ECAD designers to deliver fully detailed databases and documentation for PWB/CCA fabricationYou will collaborate with cross‑functional engineering disciplines to ensure design robustness and producibilityYou will perform/support Design Verification and TroubleshootingYou will produce and present Design DocumentationQualifications You Must HaveExperience with schematic capture tools using Siemen’s Xpedition Toolset or equivalentExperience with selecting Parts and creating Bill Of Materials/Parts List (BOM/PL)Experience with bench level testing, troubleshooting & lab equipmentMinimum 2 years of experience as an electrical engineer developing Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA)Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience oran Advanced Degree in a related fieldThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
