Job Summary

Join our dynamic Emergency Department team in Hilo, Hawaii, as a Registered Nurse. This fast-paced, high-volume 28-bed unit is equipped with 4 trauma bays, 2 dedicated behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms.

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable RN who thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with rapid patient turnover, providing critical care to a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting with various medical and traumatic emergencies.
• Conduct rapid and accurate patient assessments, implement nursing interventions, and evaluate outcomes.
• Manage care for critically ill and injured patients, including those requiring trauma and cardiac monitoring.
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and operate medical equipment safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment with rapid patient turnover.
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
