HR Generalist II

Overview Loomis Armored is seeking a Human Resources Generalist II to manage daily HR functions across branches within the district, including new hire orientation, reporting, and policy administration. Location: Loomis Armored, Ontario, CA Responsibilities Manage the daily workflow of the HR department for various branches within the district and handle related records. Interpret and communicate company policies, programs, and procedures to employees and management. May have lead or professional responsibilities over lower level support and clerical personnel. Coordinate with Corporate Talent Acquisition to facilitate timely hiring; collaborate with department managers to identify needed skills and competencies. Analyze and advise supervisors on methods to resolve employee work problems. Maintain accurate employee records, including job classification, pay rates, and organizational structure. Supervise and conduct new hire orientation. Administer HR programs (DayForce maintenance, leaves, terminations, discipline, exit interviews, uniform inventory, hourly compensation, and Loomis Academy training). Assist with employee records in DayForce (benefit changes, name changes, tax changes, address changes). Handle employee disputes and investigations with oversight from the DHRM. Maintain compliance with HR Audit requirements and achieve passing scores. Respond to employment-related inquiries from employees and staff, including sensitive matters. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; review DayForce and policies to maintain compliance; propose improvements as needed. Participate in unemployment requirements, including documentation and hearings. Perform other duties and project work as assigned by the District HR Manager (DHRM). Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, and/or 3–5 years of HR experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle confidential situations professionally. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Good time management skills with ability to meet deadlines. Integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel or related software). Ability to present professional presentations via various media formats.
