Kids Yoga Instructor (Bay Area)

Job Title: Kids Yoga Instructor Location: Throughout the Bay Area (SF, Redwood City, Burlingame, Piedmont, Foster City, San Mateo) Dragonfly Designs, a woman‑owned art education and experiences company with 20 years of excellence, is seeking certified Yoga Instructors to help young campers transition into their first day of camp with movement, mindfulness, and play. Each Monday, our Yoga Instructors will lead a welcoming and interactive yoga circle (8:45 AM – 10:00 AM), using breathing exercises, storytelling, and fun yoga games inspired by Yoga Pretzels cards. Instructors travel to different Bay Area camp locations based on enrollment and have the opportunity to stay on as Assistant Camp Counselors ($25 per hour) or lead art‑themed birthday parties and weekend events. Responsibilities Lead daily yoga circles for children aged 5–11. Incorporate breathing exercises, storytelling, and yoga games to create a warm and joyful start to the week. Travel between camp sites and set up spaces for sessions. Maintain a safe, inclusive environment for children of varying abilities. Optionally stay on as Assistant Camp Counselor or lead birthday parties and events. Qualifications Certified yoga instructor with experience teaching children. Ability to create a warm, engaging, and inclusive environment with strong classroom management skills. Enthusiastic, compassionate, energetic, with excellent communication skills. Artistic skills (e.g., jewelry making, mixed media arts) are a plus. Compensation and Benefits Pay: $40 per hour.
