About the Position

Job Description:
Seeking an experienced CVICU RN for a night shift position (3x12s, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM). This role involves caring for high-acuity patients including those with heart and lung transplants, cardiothoracic surgeries, and advanced medical devices. Nurses must be proficient with the NextStage CVVH machine and able to float to other units based on staffing needs. Schedule includes every other weekend and some holidays. No call required.

Requirements

Required:

• Active WI or Compact RN license

• BLS & ACLS (AHA only)

• 2 years of recent acute care experience (within last 3 years)

• CVICU experience required

• Proficiency with NextStage CVVH machine

• Basic arrhythmia knowledge; telemetry test required before start

• Experience in cardiothoracic surgery and/or acuity adaptable units preferred

• Must reside 50+ miles from facility

• Must be open to floating across units and locations as needed
