Job Description:


The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Genesis Healthcare plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for patients and residents by assisting them with their daily activities. This position works closely with Licensed/Registered Nurses to ensure that patients receive compassionate care tailored to their individual needs. The CNA is integral to maintaining a supportive and inclusive environment that prioritizes the well-being of both patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients/residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Ensure the highest quality of service for patients/residents and their families
• Work alongside Licensed/Registered Nurses to provide care
• Recognize and respect individual patients'/residents' needs and rights
• Maintain a caring and compassionate atmosphere
• Requirements
• Successful completion of a state-approved CNA program
• Current CNA certification
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to ensure patient safety and well-being
