Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical

Schedule: Nights Shift options: 36 or 48 hours Weekend requirement: Every other weekend

Assignment Details: Patient census: 25 beds

Requirements: Valid RN license (OK or Compact) BLS certification required Preferred: 2 years med-surg experience; will consider 1+ year experience Experience with EPIC charting preferred Core clinical skills: Med-surg fundamentals, wound care, and Wound VAC IV access, starting/maintaining IVs, peripheral line/PICC care and management Blood product administration, heparin, insulin administration Feeding tube/ostomy care Respiratory care: oxygen therapy, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway support, oral suctioning, tracheostomy care Telemetry/remote monitoring experience Pre/post hemodialysis management Phlebotomy, PCA familiarity

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical setting, focusing on adults and geriatrics. Monitor patient conditions and administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care. Perform wound care and management, including the use of Wound VAC equipment. Assist with procedures and provide education to patients and their families. Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
