Front Desk Position

 

Job Overview :

 

We are looking for a welcoming and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our dental team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional front desk support while collecting vital patient information to schedule appointments and process insurance claims. We are looking for an individual with strong organizational skills that will ensure smooth operations, accurate documentation, and seamless communication between patients and providers.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression while managing check-in and check-out procedures with professionalism.

 

Answer incoming phone calls promptly, directing inquiries appropriately, and maintaining excellent phone etiquette.

 

Verify patient insurance coverage, collect necessary documentation, submit claims, and answer claim & billing questions.

 

Scan x-rays and records into patient charts.

 

Experience:

 

Prior experience working in a dental and/or medical office with a focus on front desk responsibilities is highly preferred. However, we are open to training candidates with no prior experience.

 

Ability to handle sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines while maintaining confidentiality.

 

Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities.

 

Proficiency in Microsoft office applications for documentation and administrative support tasks.

Hours: Monday 8-12, Friday 8-5 and Saturdays 8-1 (two a month)
