What you’ll need to bring:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Pennsylvania
- Experience in a school-based OT setting or with pediatric populations is highly desired
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers
- Passion for facilitating students’ success in academic and daily life activities
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs and develop individualized intervention plans
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services tailored to each student in accordance with IEP goals
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies
- Provide consultative support and recommendations to teachers and families for classroom adaptations and carryover of therapy strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to inform team decisions
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices
