A long-established law firm seeks a full-time litigation paralegal with at least three (3) years of experience. Responsibilities include case management and trial preparation, file acquisition and maintenance, client management, and docket maintenance. The caseload will generally consist of general civil litigation and real estate.
The position requires:
- Proficiency in applying the rules of civil procedure in both state and federal courts
- Experience drafting pleadings, discovery, routine correspondence and 26(a)(1) and 26(a)(2) disclosures
- Familiarity with CCES and CM/ECF / PACER
- Prepare notebooks and exhibits for trials, hearings, and depositions
- Well-developed writing skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize workload based on deadlines
- Order, organize, and summarize medical records and bills
- Maintain multiple calendars
