NCDOT - Database Administrator- Expert

Job Summary (List Format):
- Work under the direction of a Data Architect to support the State's DMV data initiatives.
- Conduct data profiling, data analysis, and data cleansing to improve data quality.
- Design, develop, and implement logical and physical database structures and models.
- Participate in the creation and maintenance of data dictionaries, ERDs, and database schemas.
- Perform database performance tuning and optimization.
- Develop data rules and processes for data cleansing and data governance.
- Execute data conversion and migration activities, including ETL processes.
- Utilize DB2 and SQL Server database management systems.
- Use data cleansing tools and resolve data quality issues.
- Create and execute test cases to ensure data integrity and quality.
- Manage multiple complex workstreams and meet project deadlines.
- Collaborate within a team and communicate technical information effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Dissect complex data problems and derive actionable insights from large datasets.
- May require advanced education and/or extensive industry experience.
- All work must be performed on-site, and candidate must be available for in-person interviews.
