Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit maintaining a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support maternal and neonatal patient outcomes
• Float between like units as needed to support staffing needs across the facility
• Participate in holiday coverage, with an expectation to work 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered California RN license (no pending licenses accepted; compact license must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NRP, Advanced AWHONN, and LA Fire Card
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted at time of candidate submission; post-submission RTO requests may not be considered
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard travel candidate (locals may be considered under separate terms)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Magnet-designated facility
• Familiarity with high-acuity Labor and Delivery environments
• Flexibility to accommodate scheduling needs at the manager's discretion, including block scheduling
