Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in a Medical Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will manage a diverse patient population with a focus on patient safety and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders.
• Monitor patient conditions and document observations utilizing EPIC electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Respond promptly to patient needs, especially in ventilated and orthopedic cases.
• Educate patients and families regarding post-discharge care and treatments.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and mandatory certifications.

Qualifications:

• Valid NY Registered Nurse license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical experience.
• Certification in BLS and COVID vaccination compliance.
• Proficient in EPIC electronic health record system.
• Ability to adapt to floating within Med/Surg units as needed.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
