Controller Our client, a fast-growing semiconductor manufacturing company, is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead and elevate its accounting function. Location: This is a full-time, onsite role located in the South Bay Area, CA. Job Description: This role oversees all core accounting operations, strengthens internal controls, enhances financial processes, and partners closely with executive leadership in a dynamic, PE-backed environment. The Controller will manage a small team while remaining actively involved in operational accounting, reporting, and compliance. Responsibilities: Lead and oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end close. Develop, implement, and enhance financial policies, procedures, internal controls, and audit frameworks. Manage the consolidation, analysis, and reporting of financial data to support executive decision-making. Provide operational and manufacturing accounting support, including cost accounting, budgeting, and cash flow analysis. Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, fostering accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA a plus). 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3 years in a leadership or management role. Strong technical accounting background with experience in financial statements, cash flow analysis, and audits. Advanced ERP and Excel skills, with the ability to build and manage financial models and reporting tools. Demonstrated ability to improve processes, drive organizational change, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
