JOB OVERVIEW

• Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7am - 4pm or 8am – 5pm
Weekend day shifts available 7am to 4 pm

• Reason for Coverage: Backfill FTE; system bringing radiology in-house and pending permanent hires

• Credentialing Timeline: TBD; SC license preferred but non-licensed candidates considered with FCVS

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Rate: Daily; OT after 8 hours and weekly OT after 168 hours

• Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered

• Dosimetry Badge: Provider must supply badge on first day; MUSC reimburses up to $200

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

• General radiology reads

• Light interventional procedures

• IR On-Site Studies: Arteriograms, CT-Fluoro Biopsies, Ablations, Embolization, Kyphoplasty, Gastrostomy Placement, Pleurx Catheter Insertion, Nephrostomy Tube Insertion, Port Placements, Tunneled and Non-Tunneled Catheters, Dialysis Graft Declots, Biliary Drainages

• General On-Site Studies: Lumbar Punctures, Myelograms, Arthrograms, Fluoro BE-UGI-Barium Swallows, Modified Barium Swallows, Ultrasound Guided Biopsies, Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Galactograms

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active SC license preferred; non-licensed candidates considered with FCVS

• Board: Board Eligible within 5 years

• DEA: Active DEA Certification required

• Certifications: Not specified

• Experience: Fellowship required

• Other Qualifications: Ability to cross-credential for Black River and Marion locations

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform diagnostic radiology studies and interpretations

• Complete light interventional radiology procedures on site

• Provide daytime clinical radiology coverage with no call requirements

• Collaborate with radiology network team reading for Regional Health Network

• Adhere to facility protocols and maintain accurate documentation
