Primary Position Responsibilities Facilitate and Coordinate Total Patient Care Documentation of Care Maintain Professional Development Education of patient and family Patient Advocate Maintain Patient Safety Qualifications Minimum Education: All hires after July 2012 required to have a Bachelor's Degree in nursing or Associates Degree/Diploma RN must provide proof of enrollment in a BSN program prior to hire, be continuously enrolled and complete within 5 years of hire or internal RN promotion date. Minimum Years of Experience: None. Preferred: One year of acute care nursing experience. License, Registry or Certification: Current NJ RN licensure. American Heart Association CPR, ACLS certification. Preferred Certification: PCCN or related specialty certification. Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities: Complete Critical Care, Vents and stroke training within one year of hire. Basic arrhythmia interpretation completed within 6 months of hire.
