A large academic medical center's Urology Division is excited to welcome a General Urologist for the flagship university hospital. This leading academic center's primary teaching hospital was recently named one of the top teaching hospitals in the nation. The position is affiliated with the 6th largest medical school in the US.

The candidate will participate in teaching and training residents in the Urology Residency Program, which currently has 15 residents. There are 8 urologists and 4 APPs in this collaborative academic department. This is an exciting time to join their Urology Division as it expands and will be practicing in a brand new, purpose-built urology clinic which will be patient-centered, set to open in 2026!

• Main Medical Center is a Level I Trauma Center, 1100 beds
• Second Hospital is a Level III with 215 beds
• Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgeries with Multiple Robotic Rooms
• Dedicated OR time in specialty pods: Have established block time available
• Equipped with the new DaVinci V, and XI robots, Holmium lasers, and Moses laser

Position Highlights:

• Access to a one of the largest group practices in the country and its referral base
• Purpose built clinic set for completion in 2026, is patient-centered with on-site radiology
• Conducting research is preferred
• Teaching of medical students and Urology residents
• Call is optional; 1:6 to 1:7, residents assist with first call
• Can sponsor H-1B visa candidates
• Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program eligible
• Use Epic for EMR
