Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and experienced solar installer lead to help us continue our growth while maintaining an excellent reputation in our community. This position is ideal for experienced individuals interested in continuing a career in the solar industry, who have lead a small team of installer in the past and are looking for opportunities for advancement and upward movement in our company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead solar installation, maintenance, and repair of solar energy and battery backup systems under the guidance of licensed electricians.
• Complete projects in accordance with established policies, procedures, time frames, and budgets while ensuring high-quality standards and crew safety.
• Assemble solar array racking, seal roof penetrations, and install related equipment.
• Support groundwork for solar installations, including connections to the Main Service Panel (MSP).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issues.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, addressing questions and concerns.
• Document job details accurately and comply with all safety protocols.
• Participate in ongoing training and career growth opportunities to progress to higher technician roles.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds and work in confined or elevated spaces.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a clean driving record.
• Must have at least one year of experience leading PV system installation.
• Ability to commission and diagnose issues with Enphase and SolarEdge systems.

Work Environment:

• Outdoor work, including rooftops and attics, in various weather conditions.
• Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing.
• Exposure to high places and potentially hazardous equipment.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive hourly pay ranging from $32.00 to $38.00 an hour based on experience.
