Contract | Days | Variable start times between 6:00 AM–9:00 AM | No evenings, no weekends | On-call expected 1 shift per week and every 4th weekend | Holidays covered by call

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub into a high-volume OR environment supporting approximately 15–25 cases per day across a main OR and a pavilion setting
• Support a broad range of surgical specialties including orthopedics (total joints, hips, knees), neuro and orthopedic spine, general surgery, gynecology, urology, and ENT; CV and robotic cases assigned only to candidates with relevant experience
• Work in a 1:1 scrub-to-nurse ratio environment; ability to circulate is a plus but not required
• Adhere to highly specific and structured OR suite processes and protocols
• Participate in a structured orientation including one week of onboarding paperwork and one week paired with a preceptor
• Utilize Cerner Surginet EMR for case documentation and workflow

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of OR scrub experience required
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency or strong familiarity with Cerner Surginet strongly preferred
• Ability to meet on-call obligations including 1 shift per week and every 4th weekend

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with CV and/or robotic surgical cases
• Ability to circulate in addition to scrubbing
• Background in high-volume surgical environments with diverse case types
• Familiarity with orthopedic total joint procedures (hips, knees, joints)
