Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet one of the following:
- 12 college credits in Early Childhood or School Age Education
- OR
- 12 months of experience with children through age 3.
- OR
- Currently enrolled in ECE classes
Additional requirements include:
- Strong communication skills
- Availability Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Familiarity with emergent curriculum
Nice to Have Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood, Child/Human Development, Elementary Education, or Child & Family Services.
- Registered Child Care Apprenticeship Certificate
- Community College of Vermont Child Care Certificate
- Sense of humor.
- Vermont Orientation Training.
- Mandated Reporter Training.
- SEED & Sew Certification.
