You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor, employee, and contractor access in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns through the appropriate chain of command.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions or maintenance-related issues.
• Support daily operations by communicating with site personnel and the public, maintaining accurate activity logs, and following post orders for restricted areas and controlled access points.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
