HR Coordinator

Spectrum Human Services is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join our HR team and play a key role in creating a positive employee experience—from recruitment and onboarding to training and employee support. What You'll Do As the Human Resources Coordinator, you will serve as a primary HR resource for employees while helping ensure smooth and efficient HR operations across the organization. Employee Onboarding & Recruitment Coordinate new hire onboarding activities and ensure a welcoming first-day experience. Present and facilitate new employee orientations. Manage applicant flow and support recruiting efforts through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Process new hire documentation, including I-9 verification and HR system setup. Maintain accurate employee records and onboarding files. Training & Development Schedule and facilitate employee training programs. Maintain training records and ensure compliance with required training. Track participation and provide feedback on training effectiveness. Support HR initiatives focused on employee development and continuous improvement. HR Administration Maintain electronic personnel files in compliance with state and federal regulations. Update and manage employee information within HR systems, including ADP. Assist with personnel file audits and licensing reviews. Process employment verifications and respond to information requests. Support special HR projects and department initiatives. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. At least one year of Human Resources experience, including onboarding, training, or employee support . Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Associate degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. Experience with HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems, or ADP.
