Job Description
Job Title: Surgical Technician
Profession: Surgical Tech

Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Day and Evening Rotating
Hours per Shift: 12 hours
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room
License: Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse, completion of a Surgical Technology program, completion of a Registered Nurse program, or completion of a summer surgical tech extern program; High School Diploma or equivalent with two years of previous scrub experience
Certifications: Basic Life Support

Must-Have:
Strong experience in Orthopedics, Neuro, trauma, and robotics is required.
Robotic (DaVinci) experience is mandatory.
Ability to perform major orthopedic procedures, cranial and spinal procedures, and robotic surgeries.

Description:
The surgical technician will assist in a variety of surgical procedures within the Operating Room.
The technician will be responsible for preparing surgical instruments and equipment.
The role requires strong knowledge of orthopedic procedures, neuro procedures, and robotic assistance.
Experience with trauma cases is critical for this position.
The technician will work in a fast-paced environment and support a team of healthcare professionals in providing optimal patient care.
The position involves rotating shifts that include evenings and weekends, with no on-call duty.
The work environment is acute care, and the surgical technician must adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
