Special Events Service TechnicianThe Special Events Service Technician is responsible for operating a company service truck and driving to various locations at an event to service/pump/clean portable restrooms or holding tanks. This position also performs basic pick-up and delivery of units and the installation and removal of temporary fences at special events. Workdays are Thursday - Monday. The Special Events Service Technician must be willing to travel to support special events throughout the region and to support other regions as needed.Essential FunctionsConduct daily pre-shift vehicle inspection & report deficiencies to management immediately. Conduct daily inspection of all tools assigned to the truck to ensure safety and proper working condition. Check loads to ensure that truck has all material (units, fence panels, poles, etc.) and tools needed to complete service ticketsOperate service trucks to and from pre-designated work sites based on assignment information. Maintain a clean and fully stocked truckOperate flatbed trucks to and from pre-designated work sites based on daily routing information to deliver or pick up portable restroom units, hand sinks, holding tanks, or containers. Update system and tickets with relevant delivery or pick-up detailOperate fence trucks to and from pre-designated work sites based on daily routing information to deliver or pick up the fence (chain link, panel, materials, etc.). Also, act as a point of contact on fence jobs where a crew is assigned to the job/truck and will operate fence installation equipmentOperate tanker/transfer truck to and from the local dump and completes required paperwork as necessaryService portable restrooms, holding tanks, septic tanks, sinks, showers, etc., at various work sites by following the Company's servicing guidelines. Notifies management of any issues encountered on route assignedUnload all fence materials and install fence panels, with appropriate tools, at the work site in accordance with pre-determined specifications. Locate, measure, and mark the location for placement of panels & installationTroubleshoot and address all basic repair and maintenance as needed on-site so as to not disrupt the customer experience.
