About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of UX to lead the design experience across its security platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the UX vision, leading a distributed team of designers, researchers, and UX managers, and ensuring that every interaction with the product reflects a genuine care for the users. This role requires a leader who can build and sustain a culture of openness, curiosity, and high craft, and who is adept at connecting UX outcomes to business metrics. The VP of UX will also be at the forefront of the company's AI transformation in design practice, fostering a culture of research and insights, and embedding AI into the team's workflow. Candidates for the VP of UX position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years of UX experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role. A strong background in leading UX for complex, technical enterprise products is essential, with a focus on cybersecurity, networking, infrastructure, or related domains. The role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving design strategy and influencing roadmaps at the VP or Director level. The ideal candidate will be a natural dot-connector, capable of making the complex feel simple, and will lead with empathy and fairness. Experience in building and leading distributed teams, as well as a background in UX research, is also required. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is mandatory, with a Master's degree strongly preferred.
