Apply today!/ppstrongGeneral Summary/strong/ppThe AVP, Risk Identification Aggregation team member has a critical role within the Enterprise Risk Management function in the Banks second line of defense, responsible for leading the Banks enterprise wide processes for identifying, assessing, and aggregating risks across all business lines. This position ensures that material risks are captured, analyzed, and communicated in a timely and consistent manner to support strategic decision making and regulatory expectations. The role partners closely with business units, risk owners, and senior leadership to maintain a comprehensive view of the banks risk profile and to enhance the maturity of the ERM framework. The AVP serves as a subject matter expert on risk identification methodologies, emerging risk analysis, and risk aggregation techniques./ppTo support this role, and in alignment to the Banks Risk Management Framework, the Risk Identification Aggregation team member develops and implements the policies and procedures required to support effective risk management programs./ppstrongEssential Functions/strong/pulliLead the enterprise wide risk identification process, including annual risk assessments, emerging risk reviews, and thematic deep dives./liliFacilitate workshops and interviews with business units and risk owners to surface new and evolving risks./liliDevelop, manage, and enhance relevant policies and procedures in alignment with the Banks Risk Management Framework and Risk Appetite Statement./liliOwn and enhance enterprise-level risk reporting to risk committees and develop and maintain board-level reports, analytics, and trends./liliDesign comprehensive risk dashboards, heatmaps, and narrative analyses that provide actionable insights and reflect the Banks risk profile./liliMaintain and enhance the Banks risk taxonomy to ensure consistent classification and reporting of risks./liliEvaluate the materiality of identified risks using qualitative and quantitative assessment methods./liliDevelop and maintain processes to aggregate risks across business lines, risk types, and portfolios./liliProduce enterprise level risk dashboards, heat maps, and trend analyses for senior management and Board committees./liliContribute to the development and enhancement of the Bank-wide Risk Identification program and effectively integrate the output into actionable decisions./liliInterface with functional and department leaders, providing clear direction on Bank-wide risk assessment processes, to include Risk ID./liliCommunicate across all levels of the organization and produce comprehensive executive-level risk reports./liliSupport regulatory examinations, internal audits, and independent reviews related to ERM activities./liliDevelop and lead training specific to Risk Identification and Aggregation, and the processes outlined in respective policies./liliMonitor external trends, industry developments, and macroeconomic factors to identify emerging risks./li/ulpstrongQualifications/strong/ppEducation:/pulliBachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field./li/ulpExperience:/pulliMinimum 4 years of relevant Financial Sector experience with particular focus in Risk Management, preferably in mid to large size U.S. banking institutions./liliMinimum 4 years of experience with risk management programs, particularly in areas such as risk assessments, Risk Identification, Risk Aggregation and Reporting, and general risk management./liliExperience designing and developing risk reports for risk committees and Board./liliKnowledge of banking regulations and branch operations./liliUnderstanding of how banks function and the top risks that can directly impact bank operations, to include experience working with and developing bank risk taxonomies./li/ulpSkills/Ability:/pulliSelf-motivated with an analytical mindset and a drive to develop new programs./liliProven record of delivering high quality results within strict deadlines./liliStrategic thinking and the ability to convert plans into action./liliStrong ability to operate in an environment of change./liliAbility to present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences./liliProven leadership with a strong focus on execution./liliStrong interpersonal skills.
