Volt is immediately hiring for a Lathe CNC Machinist in Buellton, CA


As a CNC Machinist, you will:

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines with a strong focus on CNC Lathe operations.
• Review blueprints, engineering drawings, and job specifications to understand machining requirements.
• Program and adjust machine controls, offsets, and tooling to ensure accurate production.
• Perform first?article inspections and test runs to validate part quality and load raw materials and finished components.
• Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measurement tools to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Perform routine machine checks and basic maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition.

This is a full ?time, contract opportunity.


The ideal candidate will have:

• Hands?on experience operating CNC machines, preferably CNC Lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical documents
• Experience with CNC set?ups, tooling, and offsets
• Working knowledge of precision measuring instruments
• Basic computer skills with exposure to CNC programming and CAD/CAM concepts

Work Schedule: 4/10 Alternative Workweek (Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM OR Monday - Thursday, 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM)


Pay Rate: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour


*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
