Details Work in the Cardiovascular ICU of a hospital setting 15-bed unit with a 2:1 patient ratio Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (3x12s) Required to work 6 weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) per 6-week schedule Must be willing to float to other units such as Medical ICU and Progressive Care Unit No on-call responsibilities Uses Cerner EMR Typical procedures include post-CABG, STEMI, and vascular cases Requirements Active AZ or compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac/ICU experience required Experience with ventilators and vasoactive drips required Experience with open heart, balloon pump, or CRRT preferred No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Valid driver's license required for consideration Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to complex cardiovascular ICU patients Any solid-colored scrubs are acceptable Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel position RTO requests must be less than one week Previous CHS facility employees are not eligible if they worked as permanent staff within the past 2 years American Traveler Job ID P-742828.
