Job Title: Polysomnographic Technologist Profession: Sleep Tech Specialty: Sleep Medicine Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 18:30 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RPSGT Certifications: BLS, RPSGT Must-Have Skills/Experience: Proficient with Alice 6. Experience with pediatric patients aged 3 years and above. Ability to score on the fly. Capability to generate sleep reports. Description: This position is for a Polysomnographic Technologist in Sleep Medicine. The role requires working in a sleep center with a focus on patient care and sleep study facilitation. The patient population includes all demographics. Common diagnoses treated in this setting include Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Central Sleep Apnea, Narcolepsy, Periodic Limb Movement Syndrome, and REM Sleep Behavior Disorder. The working environment involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and be an effective team player. This position requires wearing gray scrubs. Unacceptable attire includes anything outside of gray scrubs, open toe shoes, and crocs. The ability to provide excellent patient care and support in a fast-paced setting is essential.
