Environmental Team Member

Location Store – ORL‑KISSIMMEE, FL Responsibilities Maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver brand promises. Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop and find what they’re looking for. Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures. Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures. Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and return products to correct placement. Clean assigned areas with assigned materials and equipment, including mixing water and detergents as needed. Deep clean key areas of the store such as bathrooms, break rooms, entryways, and other high‑traffic areas to maintain a safe environment. Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly; notify supervisor of supply needs. Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks. Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor. Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines. Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers, even in difficult situations, in keeping with the organization’s vision and values. Project a positive image and serve as a role model for other team members. Other Duties Provide fast and friendly checkout experience, execute cash handling to standards. Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, including enrollments. Assist with omni‑channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS). Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes. Support shrink and safety programs. Adhere to SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements; execute company policies and standards. Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to remain standing for long periods. Ability to move throughout the store. Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching. Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment. Work Environment Public retail store setting; climate controlled in most areas; may involve outdoor work when retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks. Hours may include nights, weekends, and early mornings. Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals from cleaning supplies. Work may involve use of glass cutter and heat press (Frame shop).
