The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Elizabethtown College, PA invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor to teach Physical Chemistry . We are expanding our adjunct faculty pool and are seeking dynamic educators who bring both academic expertise and real-world industry experience to the classroom.

This is a part-time position for the spring 2027 semester with potential for renewal based on performance and departmental needs. Candidates able to teach in-person are preferable, though remote instruction will be considered. 

Responsibilities:

· Deliver engaging and effective instruction in physical chemistry lecture

· Prepare course materials and assessments aligned with departmental standards.

· Provide timely feedback and support to students.

· Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success.

· Master’s degree in chemistry or equivalent experience 

· Demonstrated expertise in Physical Chemistry.

· Commitment to inclusive and student-centered teaching practices.

· Experience in developing online coursework in the area of physical chemistry will be considered.
